The important distinction: building vs running

OverSkill's help center separates credits into two meters. Build credits cover work you ask the AI to perform in the editor. Runtime credits cover certain backend work your live app performs for users. The help center says hosting, ordinary page views, email/password sign-in, previewing and publishing do not consume credits.

What that means in practice

A simple brochure-style app can have a very different cost profile from an AI-heavy application that performs model calls or backend actions for every user. Your evaluation should model iteration intensity and runtime behavior, not just monthly visitors.

Before upgrading

• Write down the 5–10 major features you expect to build.
• Estimate how often you will ask the agent to redesign or refactor them.
• Identify runtime actions: AI calls, workflows, database writes, integrations and messaging.
• Check the current pricing page for included credits, overages and plan-specific features.

Is bundled hosting valuable?

Potentially. OverSkill markets hosting, database and storage as included. That simplifies cost comparison, but you should still compare the total operating model with your alternatives rather than treating “included” as synonymous with “unlimited.”
